Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read Florida Press Release. The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we checked: every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline; text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds; images have text alternatives, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers; headings, landmarks and lists are marked up so assistive technology can navigate them; the region tabs are ordinary links that work without JavaScript; pages reflow to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling; and motion is reduced when your device asks for it.

Known limits: press releases are published as issued, so an image in a release may lack a useful description, and tables inside releases may be hard to read on a phone.

If something on the site doesn't work for you, tell us through the Contact Us page and we will fix it or send you the content another way.
